Here we go again with the blogging. It’s honestly been so long that I’ve kind of forgotten the hows, why’s and what’s of it. How does one rant again?

Well, not that I’d ever forget that… It’s jut a little awkward. But nice anyway, especially with a pretty blog to go with it. I really should figure out how to hide posts from the public eye again though, because some of my posts will be work related. Like this one.

Some people may have heard my rant about my colleague before, and those people know that psychotic disease infested whore is the most kind description I can give of her. She’s on vacation now, and it’s awesome. It’s like the rain is gone, and we’re merrily frolicking around in the meadows. Birds are singing, bees are buzzing, and all is full of pleasant working relationships.

Except for the dark cloud on the horizon. Shaped like a psychotic disease infested whore. She’ll be back again next week. I’ll be in the UK then. For valid reasons, and definitely not to hide. Nope. This is not the obviously relieved look on my face that you’re looking for. Word on the street is that it’s ‘get your act together or get out’- time for said psychotic bitch colleague. That would be nice… Then again, I’m not sure if I’m really buying that. We’ll see. In the meantime, I fully expect her to be a heinous cunt as soon as I get back from the UK. Because she’s that kind of person.

Sigh. Nice colleagues. I can haz them naow?

Lannie got me a new theme for my blog, so now I actually have to start using the thing again. Bah It’s not actually a bad idea though. I tend to stick my head in the send when things get iffy, and that’s not necessarily a good thing. So… yeah… clearly that would indicate that last year was iffy. And it was. It’s always dual, these days. My social life is great, and the fact that I’m working on some of my issues is great, but then there’s school and work and family and argh!

Which is not all that great. At least work is looking up these days. Who knows, with some luck I’ll actually be able to force some changes this year. That would be pretty sweet.

Then again, luck? That really doesn’t seem to be my thing. So I guess I’ll just keep swimming. Eventually I have to get somewhere, right?

This may or may not be an accurate retelling of the events as they occured on DM in the past few days. :p

In the beginning, there was the Code of Conduct. The Code was a device of control, installed by the powers that be to assure the obedience of their flock. Yonder flock did have a tendency to rebel after all, or at least to disagree with the powers that be, which is almost the same as rebelling anyway. The Code of Conduct stated clearly: Thou shalt not rebel, or disagree, or even think of disagreeing. Thou shalt not discuss the decrees from the powers that be in any manner, respectful or not. Thou shalt jump when the powers that be state that thy shall jump. Should thee feel compelled to disobey these decrees, the powers that be shall rain upon thee with fearsome banning powers.

Needless to say, there was much unrest among the little people. The powers that be did not approve of this unrest, and they set out to set an example. “We strip thee of thy power, ye ungrateful wench!” they called out to the spiritual leader of the White Tower. “Fine!” she cried out to them, “Be that way, ye blind fools!” For did they not see that her cause was just and her work solid? The public cried in outrage and called forth the mighty smiter of injustice. “Ye Bastards are mistaken!” he called out to the powers that be. He exposed to the people of DM the dastardly ways of the powers that be. The people cried in outrage and misbelief. Had they truly been deceived so thoroughly?

Before the seeds of rebellion could take hold in the hearts of the people, the powers that be acted. Rashly, at that. “We ban thee for sixty days and sixty nights, oh foul causer of dissent!” they called out from their ivory tower. The smiter shrugged, and settled onto a private forum, where he wrote and wrote, preparing to flood the world with his word as soon as sixty days and nights had passed.

In the meantime, in DM-land, not all was as it should be. The people had indeed been infected by the seeds of rebellion and even the young and careless gave voice to their worries. The former guide of the White Tower turned her back on the powers that be. “I will hear no more of your lies and deceit! The people will hear the truth and yonder ivory tower will crumble!”

Within the ivory tower the powers that be heard these words and trembled. They gazed upon each other in horror and silence while the turmoil in DM-land grew steadily. “What can we do?” they asked themselves.

Step down. That’s my advice, ye wicked bitches from rp admin land :p
