May the sun shine warm upon your face
May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
From the sounds of it my uncle might not live to see another Sunday. I’m not particularly close with this one, but it’s still hard. Especially on my parents, because they did hang out quite a fair bit. My dad and this uncle had a bit of a parrallel going on, both being married into the enormous family of my mother. I guess that sort of thing always creates a bond.
Eiter way… he has cancer, had bonemarrow transplants, and those new cells basically decided that they didn’t like their new body, so they were wreaking havoc. Then he got medication to surpress the rejection of the new cells, which led to all sorts of complications, like kidney-failure. Ironic, that when the new cells finally seemed to be working the way they should, the rest of his body decides to give up.
Depressing.
*hugs*
I hope the meds will kick in, and he will see another Sunday.
